Bio pages are self-indulgent. 101 pages are too long. If you want to read something that shows a tiny bit of depth or tells stuff you wouldn’t have known otherwise, here’s a 10 item list of things about moi.
The Basics:
I’ve been coloring my hair since I was 15. Now at the age of 23, I consider myself a brunette who has a long history of redhead.
My eyes are hazel, and my right is browner than my left.
I have two siblings: a sister, 3 years younger, and a brother, 5 years younger. My sister (whom I refer to as Ab, Abdog, or Abe) is my best friend and the most talented person I know at making really bizarre faces. My brother is usually an obnoxious turd but I love him a lot. If you saw a photo of us all together, you’d notice our smiles look the same.
My two main friends are my college buddies Em and Jess. Emily often fascinates me with her astounding amount of knowledge about horrible diseases and toxic substances while Jess shares my love of 1980's cartoons and characters.
Deeper Stuff:
According to my sister, my main fault is that I can occasionally come off as being “rather short or snippish”.
I don't eat meat because I feel the way animals are 'grown and harvested' is cruel and sickening.
I am completely fascinated by natural disasters. Large-scale mudslide, hurricanes, tsunamis... what could be more fascinating than the natural fury of our own planet?!
Quirkier Stuff:
If someone asked me what were my goals in life, I’d say to draw "Barbara's Blimp" and have many people like it. Also, I want own a spooky house, wear weird clothes, and live like a supervillain. And that house would have an indoor pool :)
Most people don't like to go shopping with me. I take a long time deciding between similar products, get distracted by totally useless gizmos, and I almost always end up losing the person I came with for a brief period.
Out of all the stupid things I do, there is one thing I constantly do over and over- I always try to eat food that is too hot and end up burning my mouth. Even though I can look at something and think, "I probably should let it cool a bit", I inevitably end up putting a large amount of it in my mouth and burning myself.
