Sort clothes by lint content instead of by colors. Chances are, all your clothes are old and wouldn't bleed anyway. Make a linty pile (towels, sweaters, socks) and a pile of everything else.
Only have one load of clothes? Who needs to sort when you have one of those sticky paper lint rollers?
Set a timer and play video games while waiting for it to ring. I like building houses with The Sims2.
When taking clothes out of the dryer, remember to quickly hang up the stuff that gets wrinkled. After all, it takes less time to half-assed smooth wrinkles out with your hands and hang them up than it would to half-assed iron them later.
Did the dryer not dry them completely? Who cares; things on hangers can be left on the shower curtain bar or door knobs to air dry. Nonhangables can be thrown over chairs are the couch to dry.
