My affair with the Scotch Craft Stick.

11.18.05 - 3:05 am

Yesterday was hella cool. Por qua?

About two years ago, I fell madly in love with the "Scotch Craft Stick" glue stick. We went to movies, dined out, and had such magical glueing experiences. However, after I ran out of glue, I never saw my friend again. I searched and haunted the isles of craft stores, looking for my long-lost love, never to see it again. That is, till last night.

While aimless shuffling down the isles of Meijer a bit past midnight, I wandered into a craft isle.

"Dum diddly dun...
I need sticks for
My glue gun."

And BAM! There was my gold and violet adorned soulmate! I gasped, tossed two glue sticks into my cart, and proceeded to celebrate with a victory throwing-punches-in-the-air dance.

I can't wait till I have some time so I can bust out the old scrapbook and get catched up. Hmm... I wonder where my Beck ticket stub from a few months ago is?

Also cool was I saw a freshly crashed car. It totally knocked down one of those poles with the "Walk/Don't Walk" signs. I saw the dude walking away from it. I think he was drunk; this pole was totally not in a place where any sober person would hit it. Anyway, it looked cool... but not as cool as the time I saw a police chase that resulted in a fatal crash that took down a telephone pole. The wires were all like, "Hey! *CRACKLE* *SPLOSION* We look like fireworks! *POPPIN'*"

I drove by there this afternoon, and the walk/don't walk pole was still on the ground. It's funny how quickly a telephone pole and lines will be repaired vs a pedestrian pole.
