![]() 01.12.05 - 2:02 pm Hey, everyone! I am worth $1,865,430.00 on HumanForSale.com! I wonder where I need to go to cash myself in :) So, forever ago I was thinking about in- *glances around for the dictionary* insensitivity. The dictionary says it means "unresponsive to or unaffected by the feelings of others; unfeeling". But I am getting ahead of myself. Some people are very sensitive emotionally, and they care a lot about what other people think and say. Other people, like myself, possess very little emotional sensitivity. It doesn't bother us if someone doesn't like us because we just don't care what many people think. Of course, we care about the feelings of our friends and families, but we may not always understand why our sensitive pals or relatives get so upset about certain things. My point being, there is "sensitive" (S) and "non-sensitive" (NS). So, where does this leave "insensitive" (IS)? I think IS implies a cold, total lack of caring; thus it is different from NS. I think if you are NS, you aren't prone to strong caring or emotions like S people, but you aren't totally uncaring like IS people. Am I being confusing yet? So, while non-sensitive is different that insensitive, there does seem to be a fine line between them. How little can you care until you really don't care at all? But that really is just in theory and applies very little to real people. After all, people constantly change, so it is a fact you can be S, NS, or IS solely depending upon your mood. Still, most people do have moderately reliable dispositions. Mine is to be consistently NS with occasional IS moods and rare moments of S. And I like that :) It seems that many sensitive people are often unhappy because things get under their skin and bother them a lot. I'm lucky because I can shrug and think, "Pfht! Big fuckin deal". Heh, go me! I think I'll work on a few computer things and then go kick some zombie ass in Resident Evil. I only have a PS1 system, but I really have some awesome games for it. Em just got a Gamecube for xmas, so she bought herself Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and Resident Evil. Damn, the Gamecube's revamped RE is sooooo f-ing cool! Sometimes I get creeped out playing the PS1 RE late at night; I can't imagine how much spookier the Gamecube's RE would be! Whoa!! Ha! I knew if I kept checking back that someone would finally make one! TheMoodSwing made a Fat Albert diaryring. It's about time somebody did. Fat Albert is da man! Once I tire of my Master of the Universe theme, I just might make a Fat Albert one :-) I take that back; I won't play RE tonight. I've been working on a comic for my sis, so I'll do that instead. 11:44pm Wow, I got a lot done on the comic today. PS- English is a great language because "poop" upside-down is "dood" or "boob".
