 01.15.05 - 1:18 pm Word up! Yesterday, I had my meeting at the U, and it went well. The prof had a very good plan for the upcoming weeks, which is great. Jess and I went out to lunch, then to Big Lots where she bought 2 bookshelves. She just moved, so she really needed them. We assembled them successfully, (go us!) so now she'll really be able to organize her room. I have to figure out what to get her as a house-warming gift; I'm thinking maybe a cool poster or something neat to put up since her walls are really pretty bare. So that was my day. My comic is coming along quite well. I've been ignore the pot-painting for it, but since I'm still being productive I don't mind. Besides, it's chilly and painting always makes my fingers cold. I hate that. Anyways, I am trying to work on the comic everyday so I don't lose interest in it like I did in the 3 other comics I started. Oops :-) Oh well, but I'm sure I'll finish it; I've already got 5 pages drawn and colored penciled. Hee, I could be coloring them more professionally, but that sort of takes the fun out of it, so mediocre coloring it is! I can't wait to finish it! It's for my sis, and I haven't been able to make a good comic for her in forever. I should be able to finish it by February, so it can be part of her birthday present. And I'll be able to put it up in the comics section of Mambo Mania. It will really put my other ones to shame. Ha, I can't believe how crappy those ones are! But I still like them, you know :) I really should put up the "Snowy Barbara" comic I did since that one is pretty decent and I even shaded it with pencil (sort of in a lazy way, haha), and pencil shading is something I rarely ever do. Since I'm probably going to continue mentioning the current comic until it's done, here's a quick sneak peek of it: 
Yeah, it's sort of a spoof of something, as you might be able to tell by the character designs. Well, gotta take my shower now and get ready for work. Maybe I'll add Snowy Barbara in today if I have the time. Bye now! 3:45pm Hey everybody! *screaming like Grover and flailing limbs around* I added the "Snowy Barbara" comic up at Mambo Mania! It's like Snow White except way fucking cooler since I made it, haha! Click here if you'd like to read it. I drew that like in 2002 or something and never got around to putting it up. Sometimes things just end up sitting in sketch books on the bookshelf and I sort of forget about them. I hope someone enjoys it! Gotta get ready for work now, blagh!
